Introduction

z-5 small space gardening is an experiment of bio dynamic gardening and sustainability. This project will most likely utilise container and raised beds, and companion planting. There will be no chemical pest control (including weeds). No synthetic fertilizers, even if they are labled for food production.
This year I wil be focusing on sustainability. I recently read a study by a writer where she tracked her production in a 5' x 20' garden. She was able to grow over $700.00 in produce, with very little gardening experence and not a lot of time invested. My space is going to be much smaller than that, hopefully so will the time I spend.
